Registered Counselor from The Board of Counselors Malaysia - KB08071
I bring my whole heart and authentic self to therapy. I utilize warmth, collaboration, and curiosity in understanding who you are as a whole person. I draw from several different schools of practice, but all of them have a central tenet of placing importance on our relationship: on creating a safe space for you, connecting with you and allowing yourself to feel truly seen and deeply accepted. I lean towards the philosophies of Emotion Focused Therapy and Existential Therapy.
I fully believe that being seen, witnessed and heard without judgment by another human being is one of the most healing experiences we can have. In my sessions, you can show up as you are, how you are, and where you are. I will sit and walk with you on your journey. When you work with me, you might describe me as a self-love encourager and a listening ear. I am an advocate for vulnerability, and a holder of space for hope and healing. I believe we require less fixing and more accepting, less criticism and more self-compassion and less perfectionism and more “good enough”.
In my practice, I support people who want to find more acceptance, wholeness and hope in all of who they are. I serve not as an expert or someone with all the answers, but as a collaborative guide who values and deeply respects who you are and the wisdom you already have within you. Our work together will be full of compassion, empathy and trust. I’ll hold space for silence, discomfort and honour exactly where you are in the moment, while gently encouraging you to go out of your comfort zone when you are ready. Through it all, I will meet you exactly where you are at and support you in growing towards where you want to go.
